Fiona Poole

Fiona Poole is an accomplished Director of Compliance and Operations Governance at Mastercard, overseeing operations for the Nordic payments business. Previously, Fiona held various positions in technology leadership, including Director of M&A Technology and Director of Software Engineering at Vocalink, where they led a team responsible for critical systems within the national payments infrastructure. They began their career as a Systems Developer at Royal and Sun Alliance and later taught English in Paris and Barcelona. Fiona’s educational background includes a B.A. (Hons) in Sociology and Social Policy from The University of Sheffield, along with studies in Music and Psychology at Kingsway College, London.
