Nicola Villa is the EVP of Strategic Growth at Mastercard. Nicola has over 20 years of experience in the technology industry, including stints at IBM and Cisco. Nicola is a thought leader in the area of digital transformation and has been instrumental in helping governments around the world embrace new technologies. Nicola is a passionate advocate for the power of technology to drive economic growth and improve people's lives.

Nicola Villa attended Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, where they studied Industrial Economics as part of their Economia e Commercio degree. They then went on to study International Business as part of a Bachelor of Arts (BA) at the University of Brighton. In their final year of study, they focused on Scientific subjects as part of a Licentiate degree at Liceo Scientifico.
