Shanna Crumley

Shanna Crumley is a seasoned professional currently serving as the Chief of Staff for AI & Data at Mastercard, where responsibilities include supporting the Chief AI & Data Officer. Prior experience includes directing the Impact Data Science team at Mastercard’s Center for Inclusive Growth, managing a portfolio of over $50 million in grants, establishing data science programs with prominent institutions, and co-leading a global AI challenge. Additionally, Shanna Crumley serves on the External Advisory Committee for the Data Science Institute at the University of Toronto and the Data for Social Impact Advisory Committee at Washington University in St. Louis. Earlier roles included Senior Innovation Advisor for the City of New York and Co-Founder & Co CEO of Bitae Technologies, a public interest tech startup focused on digital credentials for refugees. Shanna Crumley holds a Master’s degree in International Affairs from Columbia University and a B.A. in Intercultural Communication from Pacific Union College.
