Chaitanya Ramavajjala

Chaitanya Ramavajjala has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in software engineering and development. They are currently employed as a Staff Software Engineer at MasterClass since May 2021. Before joining MasterClass, Chaitanya worked at Zillow from April 2014 to May 2021, holding positions such as Principal SDE and Senior Software Developer. At Zillow, they were responsible for developing iOS applications, improving continuous integration, and working on the iOS platform, build machines, and web services.

Prior to Zillow, Chaitanya worked at Big Fish Games from September 2011 to April 2014 as a Software Design Engineer II, contributing to the development of the Big Fish Cloud Gaming service. They were involved in reverse engineering games and developing core and middleware streaming software infrastructure.

Chaitanya also served as a Founding Engineer #1 at Agawi (formerly iSwifter) in January 2011, where they played a key role in the development of iSwifter, a browser enabling Flash content consumption on iPads. Their responsibilities included architecture design, product development, and contributing to product strategy discussions.

Before Agawi, Chaitanya worked as a Software Developer at YouWeb from April 2010 to January 2011. They also gained internship experience at Symantec in September 2008, studying the behavior of bot-nets and developing an algorithm to counteract them.

Chaitanya's earliest work experience was as a Student Web Developer at the University of Southern California from May 2007 to December 2008, where they designed and maintained web applications for the CS Department. They also worked as a Software Developer at IntersectWorld LLC in May 2008, contributing to the development and integration of an iOS music streaming application.
