Steve Jones

Steve Jones has extensive experience in the mining industry, beginning their career as an underground miner at Elcom Collieries from November 1979 to December 1989, and continuing in similar roles at Oaky Creek Coal and North Goonyella Mine until December 1999. From January 2000 to January 2003, Steve served as Project Manager at Walter Mining. Since February 2003, Steve has held the position of Operations Manager at Mastermyne Group, where notable contributions include a secondment to New Zealand to partner with Solid Energy for mine ventilation upgrades between January 2011 and December 2012, and overseeing recovery works at Pike River Mine. Steve's educational background includes attendance at Toronto High School.
