Ashley B. Spearman

Ashley B. Spearman is a dedicated educator with extensive experience in theatre and English language arts instruction. Currently an English Language Arts Teacher at Mastery Charter Schools since February 2019, Ashley also leads the theatre program and manages various responsibilities including program enrollment, playwrighting workshops, and annual performance showcases. Prior to this role, Ashley acted professionally with Actors' Equity Association and served as a Teaching Artist at Philadelphia Young Playwrights, KIPP Philadelphia Schools, and other institutions, promoting critical thinking and creative expression through theatre. With a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre and African American Studies from Temple University, Ashley combines artistic expertise with educational practices to foster engaging learning environments.
