Meagan Covino has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Meagan started their career at Clark University, where they worked as a Caller at Clark University Advancement from 2006 to 2008. Meagan then interned at the Law Office of Randy Feldman in 2010. Following this, they returned to Clark University as a Supervisor at Clark University Advancement from 2008 to 2010.
In 2012, Meagan joined City Year Philadelphia as an Impact Manager. During their time there, they managed program implementation at multiple charter schools while providing supervision and leadership development to AmeriCorps Members. In addition, they served as a Program and Service Content Coordinator at Summer Academy, designing professional development workshops and creating progress monitoring tools.
From 2016 to 2018, Meagan worked as the Director of Operations at Republic High School. In this role, they led various initiatives such as planning and executing the school's mid-year transition, managing school testing, and overseeing student information systems.
Currently, Meagan is working at Mastery Schools, where they have held multiple roles since 2018. Meagan started as a Food Operations Manager and later became the Assistant Director of Food Service. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Food Operations.
Throughout their career, Meagan has consistently demonstrated strong leadership skills and has received positive performance ratings from their supervisors.
Meagan Covino has a Bachelor's Degree in Geography and International Development and Social Change from Clark University, which they obtained from 2006 to 2010. In 2009, they participated in the Council of International Educational Exchange Service Learning Program at the University of Cape Town. Meagan then attended The New Teacher Project Academy from 2010 to 2011 to obtain a Practitioner's License for Secondary English Language Arts Level 1 Certification.
