Ian French

Ian French has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Ian currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer at Mastt since June 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Principal Consultant at Change : Reaction since 2006.

Ian also held positions at other notable organizations, including Director at the Australian Institute of Music starting from February 2020, Chief Financial Officer and Director at Verifai from July 2019 to July 2021, and Group Chief Financial Officer / Company Secretary at Bible Society Australia from September 2017 to March 2019.

Ian has extensive experience in finance and leadership roles, such as serving as the Executive Director Finance, Procurement, Performance & Services/CFO at the Office of Environment and Heritage (NSW) from January 2014 to January 2017, Chief Financial Officer (Interim) at ASIC from September 2012 to May 2013, and Head Of Finance at APRA from 2006 to August 2012.

Additionally, Ian worked as a Senior Business Analyst at Brookfield Multiplex from March 2006 to August 2006, and as the Head of Business Performance, Premium Business Services at Commonwealth Bank of Australia.

Throughout their career, they have achieved notable accomplishments, such as leading strategic initiatives, implementing new systems, and improving financial processes.

Ian French completed the CPA Australia Program in 2015, earning the degree of Fellow in Business/Commerce, General. In 1994, they also completed the CPA Australia Program, focusing on Accounting and Business/Management. Prior to that, from 1981 to 1984, they attended James Cook University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Commerce degree.
