David Pastor

International Sales Director - Life Science at MATACHANA

David Pastor has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. David began their career at Sony as a Maintenance Department Engineer, where they were responsible for designing mechanical parts and tools for maintenance and production assembly lines. After that, they joined Azbil Telstar as a Sales Engineer, specializing in moist heat and dry heat sterilization equipment. In this role, they provided technical support to sales managers, agents, and customers worldwide. David then moved on to become a Product Manager, where they contributed to the value proposition and competitiveness of the business by managing the life cycle of sterilization technology. David also screened market needs and developed new technologies for the product range. Later at Azbil Telstar, David became a Sales Manager, fulfilling sales budgets, maintaining relationships with agents and collaborators, and defining local market strategies. Currently, they are working at MATACHANA as the International Sales Director for the Life Science division. In this position, they are responsible for promoting and selling capital equipment products in important R&D projects worldwide. David has also served as the Global Business Development Manager for the Pharma Business Division. Furthermore, they have experience as a Project Manager, representing MATACHANA in interactions with sales companies and customers, managing and following up on projects from quotation to delivery. Overall, David has a solid background in sales, project management, and technical support in the life science and technical industries.

David Pastor's education history starts with their Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, which they completed from 2007 to 2011. Afterward, they pursued a Degree in Far East Studies at the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya from 2013 to 2017.
