COO, Hinge at Match Group

Samuel Levy is the current COO of Hinge at Match Group. Prior to this, they were Director of Email Yield Optimization at LivingSocial from September 2010 to August 2013. In this role, they were tapped to join the newly formed email strategy group and was responsible for building the ROI model to request additional funding to expand the team and build additional tools. Samuel also executed a Taguchi test, which evaluated 18,000 combinations of templates to solve for the optimal set of features. In addition, they worked with a team of data scientists to develop personalization algorithms (+8% lift in winning model) and led a team of consultants to develop a formalized segmentation approach. Under their guidance, the email strategy was redefined to be relevancy over volume by creating dozens of email types that performed 20-100x better than average emails.

Before LivingSocial, Samuel Levy worked as a consultant at MarketBridge from September 2008 to September 2010. During their time there, they built a dashboard for measuring the effectiveness of Microsoft's global marketing campaigns and continued to lead engagement with HP.

Samuel Levy began their educational career at Colgate University, where they earned a B.A. in Mathematical Economics. Samuel then participated in a study abroad program at UNSW, also in mathematical economics.
