Melissa Kruse is the Director of Project Management at Matchstic. Melissa has over fifteen years of experience in event operations and coordination, with a focus on delivering high quality events within budget and on schedule.

Kruse began their career as a Project Manager at Catalyst Conference in May 2005. In this role, they were responsible for managing project staff and volunteers, monitoring and approving all budgeted project expenditures, and ensuring that project deliverables were on time, within budget, and at the required level of quality. Kruse was promoted to Director of Event Operations in January 2012, where they led and contributed to the coordination of all aspects of 8 conferences per year. In this role, they also performed site searches and negotiated hotel and other vendor contracts, coordinated with event participants, managed budgets, and ensured deadlines were met for all internal and external parties.

Kruse joined Matchstic as Director of Project Management in May 2014. In this role, they are responsible for leading and managing all aspects of the company's event planning and execution, including budgeting, contract negotiation, logistics management, and more. Kruse's extensive experience in event operations and coordination has allowed their to successfully deliver high quality events for Matchstic clients.

Melissa Kruse has a bachelor's degree in marketing from Stetson University.
