Ian Lee

Ian Lee has been working in the software engineering field since 1996. In 1996, they started as an Electronic Engineer at Kolinker Industrial Equipment Ltd. In 1997, they moved to Display Research Laboratory as an Electronic Engineer, where they developed a Color four-camera monitor system with a high resolution VGA output. In 1999, they became an Electronic Engineer at New Technology Co. Ltd. In 2002, they began working as a Senior Embedded System Software Engineer at Spectra Technologies Holdings Co. Ltd., where they assisted the team leader to finish a TCP/IP stack and added the network connectivity for the POS terminals. In 2007, they became the Manager of the Technology Division at CreAPPtive Limited, where they developed a monitoring system for the data centre. In 2016, they started working as a Self Employed Software Engineer for a Hong Kong company, and led the development team on a new product. Ian released an iOS/Andriod APP for the new product and set up a system for a Smart Home solution including a server, mobile APP with PUSH notification. Finally, in 2020, they began working as an Embedded Software Engineer at MatchX GmbH.

Ian Lee attended Tuen Mun Technical Institute from 1990 to 1992, where they obtained a High School Diploma in Electronic and Communication Engineering. Ian then went on to The Hong Kong Polytechnic University from 1992 to 1995, where they received a High Cert. in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering.
