Laurent M. has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Laurent started their career as an Analyst M&A Intern at Lazard, where they gained experience in mergers and acquisitions. Laurent then worked as a Sales Assistant Intern at Societe Generale Corporate & Investment Banking.

In 2009, Laurent joined DC Advisory Partners as an Analyst M&A and worked on several completed transactions, including the acquisition of LT Aqua+ and the sale of Buffet Group. Laurent also handled other mandates such as the capital restructuring of LBI and the restructuring of Groupe Hersant.

Laurent's next role was as the General Manager France at BePark France. Laurent was responsible for the creation of the French subsidiary and launch in France, as well as legal, IT, and industrial aspects of the business. Laurent also managed business development and marketing activities, including integrating car parks on the platform and conducting meetings with stakeholders. Laurent successfully launched press campaigns and secured media coverage.

From 2014 to 2016, Laurent worked at Deezer, initially as a Strategy & Special Projects Manager, where they contributed to a €100 million fundraising round and conducted various M&A activities. Laurent then became the VP Corporate Development / M&A, overseeing M&A and corporate development projects, strategic partnerships, and financial analysis for Deezer Group.

After their time at Deezer, Laurent joined Soundcharts in 2018 as the CFO/COO. Soundcharts is a music analytics company, and Laurent was responsible for finance, HR, administration, and sales. Laurent played a key role in raising €3 million in funding.

Currently, Laurent is the CFO at Matera, a leading Proptech in Europe. Laurent manages finance, HR, and data-related responsibilities for the company, which has raised €50 million in funding.
