Jose I. Perez de Guzman Macaya

Jose I. Perez de Guzman Macaya has worked in the telecommunications industry since 1999. From 1999 to 2001 they worked at Interoute as an Installation Manager and Installations Engineer. In this role they were responsible for the implementation and maintenance of POPs nationwide, physical security systems in sites, and coordination with the Network Operations Center for the resolution of alarms. Jose I. also worked at MCI WorldCom as a Transmission Test Engineer, where they implemented fiber optic networks (DWDM/SDH). From 2002 to 2004 they worked at Peiro & Amorim as Technical Manager, where they were responsible for the installation of multimedia kiosks and public telephone systems with remote control application management. From 2004 to 2016 they worked at Termoprojekt as a Project Designer, where they were responsible for the definition and design of projects for residential and industrial heating systems using both conventional and alternative energies. Finally, from 2016 to 2018 they worked at PTC as a Project Manager, and since 2018 they have been a Sr. Project Manager at Material Exchange.

Jose I. Perez de Guzman Macaya completed their high school education at Colegio San Patricio and Colegio de Fomento Aldovea. Jose I. then went on to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Oklahoma, graduating in 1998.
