Melissa Fensterstock is a venture capitalist at Material Impact, focusing on advancements in human and planetary health through frontier technologies. In addition to this role, Melissa serves as an Expert-in-Residence at Digitalis Commons, advising ARPA-H on the translation of health programs, and as a member of the Board of Trustees for Connecticut Public. Melissa has held multiple positions, including Entrepreneur in Residence at Yale Ventures and ClimateHaven, and advisor roles at Johns Hopkins Technology Ventures and the Milken Institute's Young Leaders Circle. Previously, Melissa was the CEO of Landsdowne Labs, successfully leading fundraising efforts, and co-founded Peles Therapeutics. Melissa’s educational background includes an MBA from Harvard Business School, an MPhil from the University of Cambridge, and a Bachelor's degree in Neuroscience from The Johns Hopkins University.
