Matt Helm

Matt Helm is an experienced data analytics professional currently serving as the Head of Analytics at Materialize since February 2023. In this role, Matt leads the analytics initiatives, facilitating historical decision-making and real-time operations. Previously, Matt was a Member of Technical Staff at Materialize, where the focus was on analytics projects that included designing and building data platforms and supporting various departments. Prior to joining Materialize, Matt spent over a decade at Shopify, starting as a Developer and progressing to roles such as Data Development Manager and Staff Data Developer, where significant contributions included developing data warehouse products and publishing efficient architectures for evolving analytic systems. Matt's early career included an internship at Indicee Inc. and concluded formal education at The University of British Columbia.
