Viktoriia Babicheva

Viktoriia Babicheva is a distinguished expert in optical processes and nanotechnology, currently serving as a Distinguished External Proposal Reviewer at CINT and an Associate Editor for MRS Advances. As an Assistant Professor at The University of New Mexico since July 2019, Viktoriia has a robust academic background, having previously held postdoctoral positions at the University of Arizona and Georgia State University, where research focused on nonlinear optical processes in various systems. Viktoriia's research experience includes work as a Research Fellow at ITMO University and as a PhD student at the Technical University of Denmark, specializing in plasmonic waveguide modulators. Educational credentials include a B.S. and M.S. in Applied Physics and Mathematics from the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology, complemented by a high school diploma from the Ukrainian Physics and Mathematics Lyceum.
