Misha Veldhoen

Misha Veldhoen has a diverse range of work experience spanning various roles and industries. From 2003 to 2007, Misha was a bass player and co-founder of the band Roosbeef, recording CDs and performing at music festivals. From 2008 to 2010, Misha worked as a Teaching Assistant at Utrecht University, supervising tutorial sessions and correcting homework for undergraduate physics courses.

In 2010, Misha joined NWO Science as a PhD Candidate in Particle Physics, developing software for data analysis of measurements at CERN. This involved working with large data sets and using version control.

From 2015 to 2018, Misha worked at VORtech BV as a Scientific Software Engineer and Data Scientist. This role included developing and maintaining software in C, C++, and Python, as well as using statistical and machine learning techniques to extract useful information from customer data.

In 2019, Misha joined IT&Care BV as a Data Scientist, and in this role, they focused on utilizing data to improve operations and developing statistical and machine learning models.

In 2020, Misha started their own venture, BinaryBadger, as the owner. Additionally, they joined Materials Zone in the same year as a Senior Software Engineer and DevOps Engineer, responsible for microservice development, API development, and infrastructure management using various tools and technologies.

Recently, Misha has taken on the role of Team Lead Backend and Infrastructure at Materials Zone, demonstrating their leadership skills in managing backend and infrastructure development projects.

Misha Veldhoen's education history begins with a high school diploma from Candea College, which was obtained from 1997 to 2003.
