Tim Slager

Tim Slager has a diverse and extensive work experience in the talent services industry. Tim currently serves as a Talent Acquisition Lead at Materion Corporation, a global leader in advanced materials. In this role, Tim provides full-cycle recruitment support for various positions within the company.

Prior to their current position, Tim worked as a VP Consultant at LHH from 2019 to 2021. In this role, they utilized career assessments, one-on-one consulting, and group facilitation to advise individuals transitioning within and between organizations.

From 2014 to 2018, Tim held the role of VP Business Development at Lee Hecht Harrison, where they helped corporate clients develop and transition their employees' talents.

Before that, Tim served as the Managing Director of Executive Education at Thunderbird School of Global Management from 2012 to 2014, where they designed and directed custom professional development programs for corporate clients.

Tim also had experience at Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University as a Senior Program Director from 2006 to 2011, where they supported the professional development of individuals enrolled in graduate-level management programs.

Earlier in their career, Tim worked as a Managing Principal at Spherion Human Capital Consulting from 2004 to 2006, where they sold and led the delivery of outplacement services. Prior to that, they held various roles at The Adecco Group and Spherion, including Account Executive and Branch Manager.

Tim Slager has a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree from Kenyon College.
