Tykia S. has a diverse work experience in human resources. Tykia started their career as a Human Resources/Office Services employee at Brant Publications, Inc. in 2011. From 2013 to 2014, they worked as a Human Resources Recruiter at Premium Advertising. In 2013, they also worked as an HR Coordinator at HealthCare Delivery Corp, where they managed recruitment efforts and developed recruitment strategies. From 2014 to 2016, Tykia served as an HR Recruiting Manager at SFE Energy, where they conveyed the company's vision through job descriptions and postings. Tykia then joined the Jewish Federation of Southern New Jersey in 2016 as an HR Specialist. Currently, they are working as a Human Resources Director at Maternity Care Coalition, where they ensure regulatory compliance, supervises HR team members, and develops HR policies.
Tykia S. completed their B.A. in Psychology from St. John's University, attending from 2005 to 2008. Tykia then pursued a Masters degree in Psychology, with a concentration in Human Resources Management, from Adelphi University, studying from 2009 to 2010. In 2011, they obtained a certification in Human Resources Management from Adelphi University.

Since 1980, Maternity Care Coalition has assisted more than 145,000 families throughout Southeastern Pennsylvania, focusing particularly on neighborhoods with high rates of poverty, infant mortality, health disparities, and changing immigration patterns. We know a family’s needs change as they go through the pregnancy and their child’s first years and we offer a range of services and programs for every step along the way. Our Mission The mission of Maternity Care Coalition is to improve the health and well-being of pregnant women and parenting families, and enhance school readiness for children 0-3.
