Uzma Shah

Uzma Shah currently serves as the Associate Director of Scientific Outreach and Partnerships at Math for America since October 2022, after previously holding the position of Program Officer for Professional Development at the same organization. From September 2000 to August 2018, Uzma worked as a High School Biology Teacher for the NYC Department of Education. Uzma holds a Master's degree in Science Education from Teachers College, Columbia University, and a Bachelor's degree in Biology and Religion from the University of Rochester. Additionally, Uzma has earned a Master's degree in Public Administration from Baruch College.
