Andrew M Asher is a seasoned professional with over three decades of experience in health policy research and innovation. Currently serving as a Senior Fellow at Mathematica Policy Research since May 2013, Andrew previously held significant positions at OptumInsight, including Vice President of Innovation and Director of Government Solutions, where leadership in health care payment integrity and cost containment was emphasized. Prior to this, Andrew managed the Fraud Science Team at the Office of Inspector General in Illinois, focusing on advanced analytics. Earlier roles include Senior Economist at the Illinois Health Care Cost Containment Council and Health Policy Researcher at Mathematica Policy Research.
