Mark Thomas

Mark Thomas has a strong background in strategy and integration. Mark held the position of Vice President, Strategy and Integration at Mathematica starting in January 2024. Prior to that, they served as a Board Member at La Isla Network since September 2020.

Mark's experience also includes a role as Senior Director, Strategy, IQVIA Government Solutions at IQVIA from September 2020 to October 2023. Before that, they were the Executive Director, Population Health and Wellbeing at MITRE from July 2014 to July 2020.

Mark also has experience as a Senior Manager and Health Care Analyst at Battelle from July 2008 to July 2014, and as a Consultant at Genesis Health System from November 2008 to January 2010.

Earlier in their career, Mark worked as a Senior Associate at The Lewin Group from July 2005 to July 2008, and as an Adjunct Lecturer and Research Assistant at Syracuse University from August 2002 to July 2005.

Mark Thomas has a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Child and Family Studies with a concentration in Social Determinants of Health Research from Syracuse University. Mark also holds a Master of Public Administration (MPA) degree from Syracuse University - Maxwell School, along with a Certificate in Health Services Management and Policy from the same institution. Additionally, Mark Thomas has a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Syracuse University and a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Family Science from Brigham Young University.
