Yonatan Ben-Shalom began their career in 2005 as a Research Assistant at The Johns Hopkins University. In 2006, they worked as a Summer Associate at the Congressional Budget Office. In 2009, Ben-Shalom joined Mathematica as a Researcher and later advanced to the position of Senior Researcher in 2013. Yonatan currently holds the role of Principal Researcher at Mathematica, starting in March 2021.
Yonatan Ben-Shalom obtained a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Computer Sciences from Ben-Gurion University in 2004. Yonatan then pursued a Master's degree in Economics at The Johns Hopkins University from 2004 to 2006. Yonatan continued their education and completed a PhD in Economics at The Johns Hopkins University from 2004 to 2009.
