Hannu Harkonen

Hannu Harkonen is a Principal Software Engineer at MathWorks since July 2019, previously holding the position of Executive Director and Quantitative Analyst at Nomura from May 2010 to May 2019. Prior experience includes serving as a Research Associate at the University of Nottingham from October 2008 to April 2010 and at the University of Exeter from September 2006 to September 2008. Hannu Harkonen completed a PhD in Mathematics at the University of Cambridge, where a Certificate of Advanced Study in Mathematics was also obtained. Additionally, an MSc in Mathematics was earned from Turun yliopisto - University of Turku.
