Adam Metcalf

Adam Metcalf has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles in various companies. Adam currently works as a Test Automation Engineer at Matillion since 2022. Prior to this, Adam served as a Quality Assurance Engineer at BEAUTY BAY from 2021 to 2022, where they introduced and expanded manual testing processes for the app team. Before that, they worked at Missguided for several years, starting as a QA Tester in 2011 and eventually becoming a Senior Test Engineer in 2018. During their time at Missguided, Adam gained experience in testing Ecommerce projects, including a new international store and Mennace projects. In 2011, Adam started their career at Rockstar Games as an Embedded QA Tester for Max Payne 3. Adam also held roles as a QA Tester, Compliance Tester, and Senior Compliance Tester at Rockstar Games, where they developed a strong understanding of certification requirements for Xbox consoles and played a crucial role in guiding the successful submission of GTA V. Throughout their career, Adam has demonstrated a commitment to maintaining high standards, providing mentoring and knowledge sharing, and constantly seeking to improve their skills in areas such as automation and JavaScript.

Adam Metcalf attended Holy Cross College, Bury from 2006 to 2008, where they did not pursue a degree or a specific field of study. Following that, they enrolled at The University of Salford from 2008 to 2011 and obtained a 2:2 degree in Computer & Video Games.
