Sonya Chen

Sonya Chen is a highly experienced scientist currently serving as Scientist III at Matinas BioPharma since December 2019. Previously, Sonya held positions as Research Scientist and Associate Scientist at Edenbridge Pharmaceuticals, LLC from October 2015 to December 2019. Sonya's early career includes a role as Research Assistant at National Taiwan Normal University from September 2012 to 2014, where responsibilities included designing and synthesizing organic ligands and inorganic compounds. Additionally, Sonya contributed as a Teaching Assistant, offering academic support to students, and served as a Counselor for the 44th International Chemistry Olympiad in 2012. Sonya holds a Master of Science in Chemistry and a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, both from National Taiwan Normal University.
