Israel Afangideh

Israel Afangideh is a Senior Software Engineer at Matium, focusing on feature development using PostgreSQL, Java/Spring, and VUE since March 2023. Prior experience includes serving as a Full Stack Engineer at Cognizant, where an application for tracking carbon emissions was developed, and at Revature, which provided training in GCP, Java/Spring, and Angular. Israel has held several academic and advisory roles, including as a Member of the Board of Trustees and Academic Consultant at Christian Science College, assisting in the transition to remote learning during the COVID-19 pandemic, and taught Business English as a Professor at the University of South China. In addition, Israel founded The Montgomery Insider, a commentary platform, and served as a preacher at Southview Church of Christ. Israel holds multiple degrees, including a Bachelor's in Business Administration from Faulkner University and is pursuing a Master's in Computer Science at Georgia Institute of Technology.
