Amanda Dixon

Amanda Dixon, MA, LCMHCA, NCC, is a Licensed Clinical Mental Counselor Associate with extensive experience in counseling and support roles. Currently employed at Matone Counseling And Testing since August 2021, Amanda has held positions as a Counseling Intern and in direct counseling services. Prior experience includes work as a Direct Support Professional at Community Based Care, LLC from November 2018 to December 2021, and as a Play Therapy Intern at Niner University Elementary from September 2020 to May 2021. Additionally, Amanda's background includes customer service at Crisis Assistance Ministry. Amanda earned a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a Secondary Concentration in Play Therapy from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, where Amanda also completed a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. Amanda graduated from Ashbrook High School in 2013.
