Peter Barnhoorn

Peter Barnhoorn has extensive work experience in various managerial roles in the logistics and commodities industry. Peter is currently serving as the Managing Director at Matrans Rotterdam Terminal. Prior to this, they worked as the Commercial Director at Burger Logistic Services, where they focused on cargo-related services for containers, break-bulk, ro-ro, and project cargo. Before that, Peter was the Managing Director EU & Middle East at Access World, a global logistics company. Peter also served as the General Manager at CWT Commodities (Amsterdam) BV and as the Commercieel Manager at MIWE agency Nederland. Peter began their career as an Account Manager at Friesland Foods.

Peter Barnhoorn earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Food & Business from Hanzehogeschool Groningen / Hanze University of Applied Sciences Groningen, completing their studies from 2000 to 2005.
