Afroz Dairkee

Afroz Dairkee has a diverse work experience starting from their role as an Article Assistant at R. R. Dalal & Company, Chartered Accountants, where they handled corporate and individual tax compliance and finalized statutory audits of corporates. Afroz then joined KPMG as a Senior Executive - International Tax, managing Indian corporate tax and foreign exchange compliances for MNC clients.

In 2014, Afroz joined Nielsen as a Senior Executive Finance, where they incorporated and set up an LLC in Qatar, carried out legalization and regularization of group entities in Bahrain and Oman, and established the operational and internal accounting framework of the LLC. Afroz later became a Revenue Controller, responsible for the GCC markets and providing support on revenue recognition and contract interpretation. Finally, they served as an FP&A Manager, setting up the FP&A team for the APP region and initiating various performance reporting.

In 2018, Afroz joined Fork Media as a Finance Lead, working closely with the Founding team and leading working capital management, treasury management, and automation of internal processes. Afroz also took on investor relation lead responsibilities and led fund raise efforts through investor reach-outs and debt raise.

Most recently, Afroz joined Matrix Partners India as VP of Finance in January 2022.

Afroz Dairkee began their education at NM College of Commerce and Economics in 2005 and completed their Bachelor of Commerce in Finance and Taxation in 2010. From 2007 to 2011, they attended The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and earned the degree of Chartered Accountant, specializing in Taxation and Business Finance.
