Paul McDowell

Paul McDowell has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Paul is currently serving as the Chief Accounting Officer & Treasurer at Matrix Medical Network since March 2023. Prior to this, they joined Zeevo Group's Advisory Board in December 2018 to innovate tools and services for clients. From 2021 to 2021, they worked as the SVP & Treasurer at Genesys. Paul also has experience working as a Vice President & Treasurer at GoDaddy from 2018 to 2021 and as a Vice President & Assistant Treasurer at Medtronic from 2013 to 2017. Paul held the position of Director of International Accounting / Managing Director at Covidien from 2007 to 2012, overseeing financial management in various jurisdictions. Before that, they worked as a Vice President - Financial Controller at Capmark from 2005 to 2007 and as a Financial Controller at Tyco International from 2003 to 2005. Their early career included roles such as Financial Controller at Mako Global Derivatives from 2000 to 2002 and Financial Analyst at British Airways from 1998 to 2000, where they focused on international finance and marketing finance respectively.

Paul McDowell received their BA (Hons) 2.1 degree in Accountancy from Ulster University in the years 1992-1996. More recently, in 2016-2017, they completed the General Management Program in Executive Education at The Wharton School. In addition, McDowell has obtained certifications including Certified Treasury Professional (from the Association for Financial Professionals), Chartered Global Management Accountant (from CIMA), and Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (from CIMA).
