Gideon Catz has a diverse and extensive work experience in various roles and companies. Gideon started their career in 2003 as a Programmer in the Israeli Air Force, where they were responsible for developing a report generation utility. Gideon then worked as a C++ Developer at Tukatech Inc, contributing to the completion of the company's CAD-type studio software kit development process.

In 2005, Gideon joined Discount Bank as a Programmer, providing professional support for team members and working on the bank's foreign money services project. Gideon then moved on to First International Bank of Israel as a Software Developer and Integrator.

From 2011 to 2018, Gideon worked at Surecomp - your trade finance partner, initially as a Trade Finance Software Developer and later as a Java Programmer and Integration Developer. Gideon played a key role in the development, integration, and maintenance of web-based front office products and back-office systems.

After that, Gideon joined Matrix in 2018 as a Full-Stack Developer and Team Leader, leading a team of developers and building EdTech web applications using VueJS, NodeJS, Express, and MongoDB.

Gideon then worked at Bank Hapoalim בנק הפועלים from 2019 to 2021, first as a Full Stack Developer and Scrum Team Leader, and later as a Java Developer and Chapter Lead. Gideon led the development activity of a large scrum team and was responsible for various Java (Spring boot) based microservices.

Most recently, Gideon has been working at Cyren since 2021 as a Senior Software Engineer. Gideon has contributed to the development and maintenance of software projects.

In 2023, they joined Matrix again, this time as a Project Tech Lead.

Gideon Catz attended Israel Jobs from 2006 to 2011, where they studied Economics & Computer Science. Prior to that, in 2003, they attended IDF computing school for programming. From 1997 to 2002, Gideon attended Amal Bet and received a degree in Practical Engineering with a focus on Computer Software Engineering. In 1994, they attended Shevah Mofet, though no specific degree or field of study is mentioned.
