Matt Powers

Matt Powers is an accomplished database administrator and engineer with extensive experience in managing cloud and on-premises servers, particularly with Amazon Web Services (AWS). Since November 2012, Matt has been affiliated with Pointe Blank Solutions as a Database Administrator and with Matrix Pointe Software as a Database Engineer. Prior experience includes a tenure at Microsoft from 2004 to 2011, serving as a QA database administrator for the Legal and Corporate Affairs team, and earlier roles as a database tester and independent software developer. Matt's career began in the United States Navy and includes a position at The Boeing Company focusing on mainframe legacy systems. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Software Engineering from Seattle University and a Bachelor's degree in Physics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
