Brooklyn Collard has a diverse work experience in various roles related to wildlife biology and animal care. The most recent position was as a Junior Wildlife Biologist at Matrix Solutions Inc. starting in June 2021. Prior to that, they worked as an Animal Admissions Counselor at Calgary Humane Society from August 2020 to June 2021. Brooklyn also gained experience as an Animal Care Technician at Moore Equine Veterinary Centre Ltd from May 2018 to July 2020. Additionally, they worked as an Interpretive Guide/Farm Hand at Granary Road - Active Learning Park in 2017, a Barn Hand at Creekside Farm from July 2015 to August 2016, a Cashier/Server at Canadian Rocky Mountain Resorts in 2014, and a Barn Hand at Black Whiskey Ranch in 2013.
Brooklyn Collard completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Zoology at the University of Calgary from 2016 to 2020. In addition to their formal education, they obtained several certifications in July 2021, including H2S Alive from Energy Safety Canada, Standard First Aid, CPR and AED from the Canadian Red Cross, TDG from Danatec, and WHMIS from Danatec.
