Margaret Allan

Margaret Allan has a diverse work experience spanning several years. Margaret is currently working as the Vice President at The Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta (APEGA) starting from April 2023. Prior to this, they held the position of Senior Principal Engineer and Principal Engineer at Matrix Solutions Inc. from 1997 to the present. Before joining Matrix Solutions Inc., Margaret was the Sole Proprietor at Cornerstone Engineering and Consulting Inc. from June 1995 to December 1998. Their earlier experience includes working as a Project Engineer at O'Connor Associates Environmental Inc., Calgary from March 1987 to December 1994.

Margaret Allan obtained their Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Geo-Engineering from the University of Toronto between 1981 and 1985. Following this, they pursued further education at the University of Calgary, where they completed their Master of Engineering degree in Engineering for the Environment from 1993 to 1995.
