Chiam Tat Ang

Chiam Tat Ang is an experienced finance professional currently serving as Executive Director of the Central Treasury Unit at UOB since January 2024, overseeing balance sheet management across multiple regional subsidiaries and branches. Prior to this role, Chiam held a position in Treasury ALM IRRBB at Deutsche Bank, focusing on interest rate risk and hedging strategies. As Head of Treasury at Matrixport, responsibilities included optimizing the cryptocurrency balance sheet and managing risks associated with the banking book. Chiam's earlier experience includes positions in balance sheet management at Standard Chartered Bank and treasurer roles at J.P. Morgan and Morgan Stanley. Academic qualifications include a Master's degree in Financial Engineering from the National University of Singapore and a Bachelor's degree in Accountancy from Nanyang Technological University Singapore.
