Richard Bickford has over 28 years of experience in business development and project management. Richard began their career in 1994 as the Owner and Sales Engineer of Olsen Technical Solutions, a Manufacturer's Rep firm. In 2002, they joined Fischer Connectors, Inc. as the National Key Accounts Manager and National Sales Manager. In 2014, they moved to Nicolay GmbH as the Sales Manager for the USA. In 2017, they became a Business Consultant for The Agent Foundry. In 2018, they joined DASPoint as the Business Development/Project Mgmt/Field Engineering and in 2019 they became the Business Development Specialist for CompuLink Cable Assemblies Inc. Currently, they are the Business Development - Venues for MatSing.
Richard Bickford received their BA in Psychology from the University of Rhode Island between 1983 and 1987. In 1999, they completed a Certified Professional Manufacturer’s Representative (CPMR) from the University of Arizona. Richard has also completed various continuing education courses. Additionally, they have obtained five certifications from LinkedIn and Winslow Research Institute since 2017, including "Managing Your Personal Investments" in 2022, "5G Technology Strategy: Next-Generation Mobile Networking" in 2021, "IoT Foundations: Fundamentals" in 2020, "Winslow Profiles - Certified Coach" in 2018, and "Thinking Like a Leader" in 2017. Bickford's educational background also includes attending Hingham High School.
