Klara Nilsson

Klara Nilsson has extensive work experience in the field of procurement and strategic sourcing. Klara most recently served as the Head of Sourcing Nordic at Matsmart Scandinavia AB starting in April 2023. Prior to this, Klara was the Chief Operating Officer at AIRINUM from May 2021 to February 2023, leading the operations of the health tech scale-up.

Before joining AIRINUM, Klara worked at Oriflame Cosmetics for several years in various procurement roles. Klara was the Senior Director of Global Direct Procurement from September 2019 to May 2021, and prior to that, they served as the Director of Global Procurement Finished Goods. Klara also held the position of Senior Manager Strategic Sourcing from April 2012 to December 2014. Klara'searliest role at Oriflame was as a Global Procurement Category Manager from April 2008 to March 2012, where they focused on New Product Development (NPD).

Klara's career began at ASSA ABLOY in 2006, where they worked as a Process Development Manager, overseeing improvement projects in production and logistics processes. Klara played a key role in a major global automation project as part of the company's strategic restructuring program.

Prior to ASSA ABLOY, Klara was engaged with Danone. Klara worked in purchasing category management, specifically in packaging and 3rd party manufacturing, and provided purchasing support for new product development within the HP and Lea & Perrins brands. Klara successfully initiated and managed productivity projects that resulted in cost savings, reduced working capital, improved production efficiency, and higher quality.

Klara attained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Financial Management during their time there. Prior to this, from 1998 to 2003, Klara enrolled in the KTH Royal Institute of Technology. Klara completed their Master of Science (MSc) degree in Mechanical Engineering, specializing in Maskinteknik.
