Kelsey Anderson is a Program Assistant at Mat-Su Health Foundation. Prior to that, they were a Manager at Houston Grass Station and Odland Family Practice Clinic.
Kelsey has always been interested in helping others and providing excellent customer service. This led their to a career in management, where they could help businesses run smoothly and efficiently. At Houston Grass Station, Kelsey created an organized system for all of the company's paperwork. Kelsey also monitored the state reporting system (metrc) and maintained compliance with all regulations. In addition, Kelsey ordered supplies/inventory as needed and worked closely with the business owners and local government officials for tax payments.
At Odland Family Practice Clinic, Kelsey started as the Receptionist, providing excellent service to patients by scheduling appointments, processing payments and answering questions. Kelsey was quickly trained on other tasks including processing insurance payments, posting payments and filing. In February 2019, they were promoted to Billing Specialist and shortly after was asked to be the Manager as well. In this role, Kelsey took the practice from being entirely on paper to all electronic by building a working database in AdvancedMD. Kelsey used AdvancedMD to submit and track insurance claims as well as practice management (invoicing, patient forms, etc).

Kelsey Anderson has an associate's degree in accounting from the University of Phoenix.
