Sean McInnes SHRM-CP

Sean McInnes SHRM-CP has a diverse work experience that spans over several years. Sean currently holds the position of Head of Human Resources at MatTek Life Sciences since March 2023. Before that, from October 2021 to March 2023, they served as a Human Resource Manager at Visikol. From August 2020 to December 2022, Sean was an Advisory Board Member at Transformative Leadership Pace University Lubin School of Business, where they provided feedback on course content and shared information about leadership trends in the nonprofit sector. Prior to that, they worked at Emergence Church as the Director of Student Development from December 2017 to October 2021, where they managed team leaders, implemented training programs, and led change management processes for volunteer engagement and retention. From March 2017 to December 2017, Sean worked as a Leadership Coach at Next Level Leading, coaching leaders for performance improvement and assisting organizations with team dynamics and strategy development. Sean also served as the Director of Student & Adult Development at Bethlehem Church from February 2007 to February 2017, providing leadership coaching and development for volunteer leaders and overseeing recruitment and training. Sean's earlier experience includes their role as Project and Site Supervisor at Highlight Custom Painting from May 2006 to February 2007, where they implemented quality control measures, supervised workers, and implemented strategic business practices.

Sean McInnes, SHRM-CP, holds a Master's Degree in Organizational Leadership from Cairn University and a Bachelor's Degree in Education from William Paterson University of New Jersey. Additionally, they obtained the SHRM - Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) certification from SHRM in February 2023.
