Joe Newhouse is a seasoned professional in brand and strategy development with extensive experience in both non-profit and for-profit sectors. As Chief of Brand & Strategy at MATTER since March 2014, Joe has significantly scaled the organization’s revenue from $1.9M to $5M annually and has launched innovative products such as the MATTERbox and MATTERcoffee. In addition, Joe co-owns Kitchen and Rail, a restaurant start-up, and has been involved in launching the brand strategy for Juduh, a software development start-up focused on providing opportunities in tech. Previous roles include brand strategy consultancy and brand management for prestigious brands during tenure at Target. Joe holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics from St. Olaf College and multiple Master's degrees in International Business and Strategy from the Norwegian School of Economics and SDA Bocconi.
