Melanie LaMere is an accomplished marketing and sustainability professional with extensive experience in the retail industry. Currently serving as the Director of Marketing and Sustainability at Matter since March 2020, LaMere has successfully launched compostable food storage and disposable products to major retailers including Target, Walmart, and Amazon. Prior to this role, LaMere held various positions at Signature Retail Solutions and Signature Sales, Inc. including Special Projects and HR and Business Operations Manager. Additional experience includes leadership roles in category management and consulting at Signature Insights & Analytics and M. Margolis and Associates Retail Consulting, respectively. LaMere’s early career at Target encompassed multiple buyer and analyst roles, establishing a well-rounded foundation in retail operations and product management. LaMere is a graduate of St. Olaf College.
