Lucas Golub has extensive work experience in the medical field. Lucas currently holds the position of Chief Medical Officer at Matter Health, starting in December 2021. Prior to this, they served as the Chief Medical Officer for Georgia at WellBe Senior Medical from February 2021 to December 2021, and as the Community Medical Director from July 2020 to February 2021. From September 2016 to July 2020, they worked as a Regional Medical Officer at CareMore Health Plan. Additionally, they held various positions at Emory Healthcare, including Medical Director for Emory Healthcare Network Advantage and the Emory Coordinated Care Clinics from September 2016 to August 2018, and Assistant Professor of Medicine in July 2016. Before joining Emory Healthcare, Lucas Golub worked at Emory University School of Medicine, serving as Chief Medical Resident and Instructor of Medicine from July 2015 to June 2016, and as a Medical Resident from July 2012 to June 2015.

Lucas Golub holds a Bachelor's Degree in History from the University of Georgia - Franklin College of Arts and Sciences, which they obtained between 2001 and 2006. Following this, they pursued their education at the Emory University School of Medicine and earned a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree from 2008 to 2012. Additionally, they hold a certification in Internal Medicine from the Americal Board of Internal Medicine.
