Pearl Imbach-Pillaert

Pearl Imbach-Pillaert has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Pearl currently works at Matter Labs as a Senior BD for Financial Institutions and Capital Markets. Pearl is responsible for scaling Ethereum using zero-knowledge proofs and promoting the adoption of public blockchains. Prior to this, in 2022, they worked at Persistence as a BD & Partnerships. Pearl has also worked as a Crypto PM, managing a cryptocurrency portfolio and gaining practical industry knowledge in exchanges and DeFi projects. In the past, they served as a Director at Bordier & Cie, a Swiss private bank, where they focused on strategic expansion and cooperation initiatives in emerging markets. Pearl also has experience in asset management compliance and risk at Finaport, where they were in charge of client onboarding and statement consolidation. Other experiences include working as an Analyst at JPMorgan Chase. Pearl Imbach-Pillaert has recently completed a bootcamp at SIT Academy in 2021, focusing on becoming a Full Stack Developer. Prior to that, between 2010 and 2011, Pearl pursued an Advanced Master's degree in Strategy and Management of International Business at ESSEC Business School. Pearl's educational journey began in 2005 at Ghent University, where they completed a Master's degree in Business Engineering, specializing in Operations Management, which was completed in 2010.
