Olaf Brandt

Olaf Brandt is a seasoned technology executive with extensive experience in software engineering, particularly in AI/ML and computer vision. Currently serving as Vice President of Software Engineering at Matterport since November 2020, Olaf previously held the position of VP of Engineering at Tiveni, Inc., where efforts focused on advancing electric vehicle adoption. Prior roles include VP of Software and Client Platforms at Jaunt XR, where Olaf led the development of the Jaunt XR Platform SDK, and various engineering leadership positions at ShoreTel, where significant contributions were made to voice switches and contact center applications. Olaf's career began as a Senior Software Engineer at Network Computing Devices and includes entrepreneurial experience as a founder at Congruent. Olaf earned a degree in Computer Science and Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley.
