Gary McGurgan

Gary McGurgan is an experienced engineering and management professional with a strong background in chemical engineering, currently serving as General Manager at Mattershift since July 2022 and as Senior Vice President at Prometheus Fuels since October 2019. Prior roles include Program Manager at Donaldson, and leading engineering activities as North American Filters & Membranes Engineering Leader at GE. McGurgan co-invented a leading forward osmosis membrane while serving as VP of Membrane Development at Oasys Water. A significant tenure at Dow Chemical spanned from 1993 to 2009, where accomplishments included leading major cost-saving initiatives and developing manufacturing strategies. McGurgan holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Youngstown State University.
