Gene Mello IV

Gene Mello IV has over 16 years of experience in the commercial retail real estate industry. Gene began their career in 2007 as a Leasing Representative at Phillips Edison & Company, where they gained valuable knowledge in prospecting, deal-making, and negotiating while leasing retail shopping centers. From 2011 to 2019, Gene worked as a Real Estate Broker at Epsteen & Associates-San Diego, providing services to clients throughout Southern California. During this time, they completed hundreds of transactions and remained actively involved in representing landlords, tenants, and investment acquisitions/dispositions. From 2020 to 2022, Gene worked at Enduring Real Estate as a Real Estate Broker, specializing in landlord/tenant representation and completing acquisitions/dispositions for a range of clients. Currently, they serve as the Vice President of Leasing at Matthews Real Estate Investment Services, where they utilize their expertise in commercial retail and investment sales to complete transactions and build client wealth.

Gene Mello IV completed their Bachelor's degree in Business- Marketing from Ohio University between 2003 and 2007. Gene also pursued a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) with a focus on Marketing/Real Estate at the same university.
