Tushar Mandrekar

Tushar Mandrekar has extensive work experience in the technology industry. Tushar is currently serving as the Senior Director of Technology at Mattson Technology since March 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Applied Materials for many years in various roles. From November 2018 to March 2021, they were the Director of Epi Marketing, responsible for strategy planning, market analysis, and product management in the epitaxy business. Before that, they served as a Technology Manager and Product Marketing Manager for Epitaxy, where they developed integrated preclean solutions to enable scaling to 5nm and beyond in the logic market. Tushar also worked as a Strategic Marketing Manager and Product Marketing Manager for Front End Products, supporting new product innovation and application growth. As a Global Product Manager, they managed a dielectric gap fill product portfolio, engaged with customers, and productized various chambers. Additionally, they served as a Key Account Technologist and was involved in joint development projects with Intel. Tushar's career began with a New College Graduate Internship Program. Overall, their experience spans a wide range of responsibilities and demonstrates their expertise in technology, marketing, and product management.

Tushar Mandrekar holds a Master's Degree in Materials Science Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, which they completed from 1995 to 1996. Prior to that, they obtained another Master's Degree in Condensed Matter Physics from the same university, attending from 1993 to 1995. Tushar earned their Bachelor's Degree in Physics from the University of Michigan between 1989 and 1993. Tushar completed their high school education at East Lansing High School from 1985 to 1989.
