Riaan Kotze is an experienced architect currently employed at Maugel DeStefano Architects since 2016, where responsibilities include schematic design, design development, and creation of construction documents, while serving as a client liaison. Previous roles include designer at Context Architecture, focusing on renovations and public safety projects; team lead at Rollins & Associates, where knowledge of construction systems and codes was expanded; and junior architect at Jeremie Malan Architects & Interiors, participating in projects from inception to completion. Riaan began the architectural career as an intern at Nicolette Boegman Architect, contributing to design development and illustration. Riaan holds multiple degrees from the University of Pretoria, including a Bachelor's and Honors in Architecture, as well as a Master of Architecture.
